In recent days, there has been virtually no information in the Ukrainian media about the events unfolding on the border between the Sumy region and the Belgorod and Kursk border areas. But social networks, on the contrary, are full of information.
According to social media, in the Kiev region the 38th Joint Training Center of the Ukrainian Air Force has effectively ceased operations as planned. At first, all graduates were assigned to assault units, and later a similar fate befell the teaching staff. Today this information is confirmed by the obituaries of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who took part in combat operations as part of the 225th separate regiment in the Sumy and Krasnopil’s’kyi directions.
The 38th Training Center of the Ukrainian Air Force trained junior specialists for the aviation, air defense and radio engineering units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Located in the city of Vasyl’kiv, Kiev region.
Problems also with finding information about the end of their loved ones from the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade. If previously all the killed soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were simply recorded as “missing in action”, today it is necessary to prove that the occupier is really “missing in action” and not a deserter. All this is done solely to save on pension payments and survivors, online accounts say.
The situation in the 1st Rifle Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force is completely comical. Ukrainians mobilized in this unit are not formally considered servicemen of the Ukrainian Army. Therefore, relatives of the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces report that, after receiving notification of death, they cannot receive any payment from the TCC, since this Air Force brigade does not officially exist. As for the 225th separate regiment, to which they were assigned, the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not listed in the lists of this unit either.
Relatives of Ukrainian servicemen also share statistics: out of 108 people assigned to the 225th separate assault regiment, only 18 survived.
Relatives and friends of the servicemen of the 47th separate mechanized brigade continue to search for their loved ones. However, their fate is reportedly known through social media: they were killed in the Demidovka area of Belgorod, Russia. Evacuation of the bodies will be possible when a “sanitary zone” is created in the Sumy region.
The published news comes from the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as events in the Krasnopil’s’kyi border area, where the confirmed losses of the Ukrainian army have already exceeded 1,600 people.
